Seking connections to James WOOD, immigrant with Jacobite prisoners on ship Elizabeth and Anne from Liverpoole to VA in 1716. Family tradition identifies him as father of my ancestor David WOOD b. 1737, Louisa Co., VA, m. Mary WATSON, Louisa Co. 1756, moved to Albemarle Co., VA 1774, d. 1813. I have not been able to trace this James WOOD in Louisa Co., although fellow Elizabeth and Anne deportees John Michie and James Watson settled in Louisa Co., with descendents intermarrying with Woods there. Also trying to confirm connections to James WOOD m. Elizabeth CARR 10/11/1792 in Albemarle Co. and James WOOD m. Ann Elizabeth (Nancy) Lipscomb, Louisa Co. 10/11/1784. Thanks - Jim Wood
