I have Wood family from Hardin County Tenn, in the early 1800, my ggggrandfather, William Wood born abt 1807 in Orange County, NC came to Tenn with brothers Charles and Daniel Green. William died in 1881 in Pyburn, he was married three times, first to Cynthia Brooks, then to Rebecca Hatley and last to Barbara Clanton. William was the son of William Wood and Nancy Cate or Cates. William (1807-1881) had several children: with Cynthia Brooks: Daniel Green married to Delilah Hatley Toliver married to Flora Jane Parrish Charles married to Nancy Ann Franks William died at age 15 Elisha Pack married to Martha Ann Covey John C. married to Caldonia Tankersly cynthia died as infant with Rebecca T. Hatley: Alford C married Mary Alice White Cynthia Caroline married J.R.J.L.
