My great-grandfather's name, Eddie James Wood, b: 4-19-1875. His father was James S. Wood of Paducah, KY. James S. had a wife named Nancy. Wood as married 27 years to Nancy M. Seven of their eight children lived. The child who died is missing from list. James S. Wood could read, could not write but other family members could read and write. He owned his home in Granby City, MO, with no mortgage.
