Clarissa Woods and my Nannie Missouri Woods are sisters. Their parents are John Woods and Mary Jane Cupit. Nannie Missouri was my Dad's Grandmother. She married Jesse David Kinnebrew and had Rose Lee Kinnebrew, Dad's Mother. My Dad, E. C. Gates, was the son of Rose Lee Kinnebrew and Edgar Woodward Gates. Dad married Frances Jordan from Prescott, Ark. and I came along. I will be 70 in September. Mary Jane Cupit was the daughter of Daniel Cupit and Jannett Roseborough and they came from Chester Co.
