Someone sent me a note a few months ago requesting information on a Sidney Woods. I ran across the following bio and, since I have lost the note, I thought I would post this here. Brett F. Woods Santa Fe, New Mexico Sidney S. Woods, farmer and stock raiser, was born April 29, 1819, in Howard county, Missouri, upon the farm where he now resides. His brother, James WOODS, was born upon the same farm April 3, 1821. Their parents, Patrick and Frances WOODS, originally of Madison county, Kentucky, came to Howard county, Missouri, in 1816, settling the place which these brothers now occupy. With the exception of three years spent in the war, Mr. WOODS has always lived in Howard county. These brothers jointly own a farm of over 517 acres, upon which is a good house, barn and small orchard.
