Chuck: I looked through the few pages that I have of "The WOODS Family Index", by John Summer Wood, Sr. A Given Name Index 1966 (I believe this is out of print now) and on page 271 there is a John H. Woods son of Samuel & _____; b. 17--; of Albermarle Co. VA, (D.A.R. Mag. 1915),1916). I hope this helps..maybe it will give you a place to look in VA. Sorry, but I only have a few pages of this marvelous book. Maybe someone else in the group has access to the whole book and can help you further. Samuel is Samuel Woods number 106.
