Hi, One of my "brick walls" is my husband's direct name line. Here is what I have been told... WOOD, John Edward m. FITZPATRICK, ??? They had the following children: WOOD, Jack m. ???, Stella WOOD, Anna WOOD, Herman m. ???, Fay WOOD, Dessie m. ???, Archie WOOD, Corbett (never married) WOOD, Harry Earl m. BRUBAKER, Agnes Lucille abt. 1909 Harry Earl WOOD was my husband's grandfather. Family stories say that Harry did not like his father's strong discipline and that as a teenager, he jumped off of a wagon and took off. He ended up in Jay County, Indiana and married Agnes Lucille BRUBAKER about 1909. Harry was born July 25, 1887 in Indiana so I suspect that John Edward WOOD and his family also lived in Indiana. I know that Jay County is close to the Ohio border and Agnes Lucille BRUBAKER has ties to Darke County, Ohio so that is also a possibility.
