I have just spotted a discrepancy between two WFT files containing John Woods b. 1763. One file states John WOODS b. 1763 m. Mary Margaret Cain d. 1838, one son Hugh Woods b ca 1775. John given as son of Hugh Woods & Mary Dunnegan. The second file gives John Woods b. 1763 d. 5 Jun 1838 Orange Co, NC; s/o John Woods & Anne Louey Mebane. Can anyone prove John Woods' parentage?
