I have a copy of "Genealogy of the Woods Family, 1649-1895" by Lucy Alexander Embrey. (1940) It is signed by Lucy, dated December 24, 1940, and inscribed to a Mrs. J.A(?). Rice. It is, as they say, a modest volume (about 40 pages) and details the family of John Woods, the son of William Woods and Susannah Wallace. Unfortunately, it also relies heavily on Woods-McAfee. Consequently, there are some errors in the early lines. Aside from the above the line goes like this: John Woods and Abigail Estill Charles Duncan and Mary Woods then down to surnames: Modena, Embrey finally to Lucy. If you happen to know of anyone who might want this book, let me know. I'm not trying to sell it...it's free.
