I don't have any information about who this Thomas Wood(s) was, but it appears that he died on this expedition, according to two sources which I have read, The JONES GENEALOGIES. . .by Fothergill, and the History of Dinwiddie County by Richard L. Jones, 1976. And Major Gen Abraham Wood emigrated to Jamestown in 1620 at 6 yrs of age. I have not seen any proof that he had any sons, only two daughters, Mary and Margaret. There is also a Henry Wood listed in the Muster of the VA residents in 1624. I don't have any further info about him. Regards, Donna in Lake Co., CA
