In my continuing quest to identify the ancestors of William Woods (born Ireland 1695 - died Orange County NC 1785) it seems he was buried in the Little River Presbyterian Church graveyard. Evidently the church was organized in 1761 by a Rev John White and is described (in 1905) as follows: "This historic old church stands between the North and South Forks of Little River, in Orange County, about eight miles northeast of Hillsboro." My question are two: Does this church still exist? If so, has anyone done some kind of inventory of the graves? It occurs to me that that at least some of William's children were buried there. His son John (1720-1813) was a church member, as was John's son William. In fact all three of them were reported to be ruling elders. Thanks for any clues. Brett F. Woods Santa Fe, New Mexico
