My husbands grandfather is Will M. Sullivan, born March 23, 1900 in Russellville, Pope, AR. On his grandfathers birth certificate, the mothers full name is written as Pink.Brealey (name before marriage), 25 yrs old, white and born in Arkansas. She signed it Mrs. Pink Woods. The birth certificate stated she was married to the babys father but does not say when. The birth certificate states that the father was Samuel M. Sullivan, who was 27 at the time of this birth and was born in Arkansas. I was told that he died after conception and she remarried before my grandfather was born. Was also told Pink Brealey was cherokee indian, but birth certificate states she was white. Does anyone have any of these names of their family tree? I am at a loss trying to get info.
