Does anyone know if the James Woods who received the land grants for: 190 acres in goochland County VAon 12 Jan 1746 (on the head brances of Ivey Creek); and 200 acres in Albemarle County VA on 1 April 1749 (on both sides of Stocktons branch of Mechum's River) and the James Woods who can be found in a citation from the: LUNENBURG COUNTY, VIRGINIA, LIST OF TITHES 1749 by Cornelius Cargill, that states: James Woods...1 Tithe and 6 "Scalps & Heads." are the same person?
