Hello all. I'm trying to resolve a contradiction between two reports regarding several Josephs and who goes where. I am accurate on Joseph marrying Lydia Rackliff about 1796 in Standish, Maine. But one report has him as the son of Joseph and Mary Waugh, while the other has him the son of Joseph and Sarah York. The next 2-3 generations back are therefore all amiss, but they do both return to Samuel of Groton, MA. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? My great-grandmother married Franklin Benjamin Woods, s/o Benjamin Jones & Angeline Holmes, he s/o Joseph and Lydia rackliff, and he s/o, well, now we're into the problem. My grandmother, d/o Franklin & Desdemona Hunt, married a Lanning, and then so on to me. Can we "busy up" this list for a few days and straighten me out re Joseph, Joseph, Joseph? Thanks.
