    3. I surely could use some help from a veteran WOODS researcher. I have Matthew WOODS m. to Margaret FAUCETT 12 Nov 1795. I could not find him in the 1800 Orange County Census, but I did find a Margarett. My Nancy WOODS b. 1806 supposedly is their daughter, however I find no trace of Matthew or Margaret in Orange County census records 1810-1840. Nancy married Hemeleus (Hymelius, Hymolus, Hymlous) PATTON in 1824 in Orange County. Matthew also appears on the marriage bond for William Craig and Sarah Woods 10 Jan 1795. Is it possible Matthew died before 1800 & Margaret remarried? Nancy's age was taken from census records, so could be off. A PATTON researcher has identified Matthew's parents as John Woods b. abt 1730 and Margaret <unk>. Any help would be very much appreciated. We also tie in with Susanna/Susannah WOODS whose sister Elizabeth m. Samuel R. Woods. Fay Clark
