Oops! I forgot to take into consideration the WOOD surname. There are none in the census records, but there are three marriage bonds: Wood, William Boggan, Jane 7 Feb 1781 Wood, William Burton, Anna 29 Jan 1795 Wood, William Cate, Nancy 22 Mar 1796 Now we have six William WOOD/WOODS to match with 3 in the 1810 Census. I see only two William WOODS in the 1800 Census; by the 1840 Census there is only a William H. WOOD in the Southern District. In previous censuses the other William WOODS were enumerated in the North District. Fay
