I am new to this rootsweb list and thought I should put out my information in the hopes some relative is out there waiting to be found. My great grandparents were Nancy Ann Woods b. 1849 Probably Jasper co., ILL & Rev. Silas Kittle They were married 1869 in Jasper co., ILL Nancy's parents were John Woods b. 1803 Blount co., TN & Mary Thomas Riffey-They were married 1848 in Jasper co., ILL. I believe John's parents were Patrick Woods b. 1775 Augusta co., VA d. 1856 Gibson co., IN & Jane Hanna(h).They were married 1799 Blount co., TN. Patrick's parents were Joseph Woods b.1745 Charlottsville, Piedmont Valley,Albemarle co., VA & Mary Hamilton b. 1747. They were married 1768 in Charlottsville, VA. I have definate proof up to John and his father.I would like to exchange information with anyone knowing the children of Patrick and Jane(Jenny) and second wife Mary Miller. Trying very hard to sort out the Gibson co., IN Woods. I owe a great debt of thanks to L. Holloway who allowed me to view her family tree and from whom I got a great deal of information.
