I was researching the 1880 MN census tonight when two unusual names caught my eye. John D. Wood and his wife Lavina both born NY were listed with two daughters. Yana Wood age 6 born MN, and Zula Wood age 2 born MN. The names were so unusual that I thought I would list them. Perhaps someone out there has a Yana or Zula that they can't place with parents. Surely there can't be too many people with these odd names! They were living in Mt. Pleasant, Wabasha Co., MN in 1880. lequia@elite.net
