I am searching for information on "Old John Woods" who built Woods Block house in the 1790s in Laurel (then Knox) County KY. His sons were August G. Wood b. abt1818, John Wood b:about 1799 and Reuben W. Woods b. abt;1790. I suspect "old John" is the son of the NC statesman Reuben Wood m. Charity Haynes. Any ideas????
