    3. Fellow WOOD/WOODS researchers, It was sad to learn that Mr. Harold WOOD, publisher of the WOOD-WOODS Family Magazine passed away last year. Since this magazine had such a wealth of information and has proven to be such a valuable resource for so many WOOD/WOODS researchers through the years, does anyone know of a way that the information could some how be loaded onto a CD or made available online in some way? Since there are so many issues and so much data, making copies available just doesn't seem practical. I finally got a hold of his son - I think in January and the writer, please forgive me for not remembering his name, had just passed away from a long illness. i don't know if the son is going to take over or not. I have been trying to find the books to buy. If anyone also finds the volumes to buy please let me know how you did it. Or maybe we can put our heads together on this one. I am waiting for the college in tuscaloosa to call me back if they have it. I hope this helps. sincerely bobbie ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: [WOOD-L] Re: WOOD-WOODS FAMILY MAGAZINE Date: Sun, 30 Apr 2000 23:31:42 -0500 From: "Susan Reynolds" <s3js@email.msn.com> To: "J. L. WOOD" <jwood1@mindspring.com> Hi, Jack. I believe I saw a message a couple of weeks ago that Mr. Wood had died from cancer. I know there was one several months ago asking that someone take over the magazine. I've never heard anything else after that. The Tuscaloosa Historical Society could probably fill you in. I think they have all his work now. Susan.
