I recently was added to your list, but I haven't recieved any messages. Just checking to see if I'm really on it. I am researching Herbert LeRoy Wood born abt. 1867 in Appleton Outagamie Wisconsin. He was a son of Harrison LeRoy Wood and Ellen DeForrest. Family history says that he was orphaned around 1880-1882. He was the oldest son and was left alone while the younger siblings were divided between family and friends. I can't find the family on any census in Wisconsin in 1870 or 80 so I don't know where they were living when he was orphaned. I suppose they could have been in any state.
