Was someone looking for Wiley P. Wood recently? I copied some census records at the Historical Society of Virginia some time ago and in looking through them today I found the following listed in the 1850 Census of Virginia. Wiley P. Wood Kana Co p 006 Charl.Est.Dist. I assume Kana means Kanawa or Kanawah County, but I am not sure. West Virginia now has such a county. I am not sure if it was named that while still part of Virginia. Dorothy.
