Woods Santa Fe, New Mexico HENRY J. WOOD(S) was born in September 1824 in North Carolina, and died after 1900 probably in Guadalupe County, Texas. He married MARY H. "POLLY" WINGO 1845 in South Carolina, daughter of JOHN "Fifer" WINGO and MARGARET THOMPSON. She was born 31 March 1823 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and died after 1900 in Sabinal, Uvalde County, Texas. Henry Woods is enumerated on the following Censuses: 1860 Spartanburg County SC; 1870 and 1880 Greene County TN; 1900 Guadalupe County TX. I presume Henry died in Guadalupe County TX. His wife, Mary Polly Wingo, died at the home of their daughter, Margaret Hoard, in Sabinal, Uvalde County, TX.
