Searching for information on my great grandmother, Amanda Charlotte WOOD(S?); one brother Thomas. Family history has Amanda born Dent Co., MO 1867. Later census show her born AR; also vary as to DOB from 1861-7. At least by 1881 Amanda and Thomas were living with an aunt in Izard County, AR when Amanda became pregnant with my grandfather, Robert Walter Wardman RIVERS b.1882. Father Dr. Walter Wickliffe RIVERS. In 1884-5 Amanda gave birth to Alfred Shelby HARWELL. Father G. H. (or N.) Harwell; no marriages found. Both children born Calico Rock, Arkansas. At some point thereafter Amanda took the two boys to Ft. Worth, TX where she married a James WILSHIRE (WILSHER) and had three daughters. WILSHIRE died of Typhiod fever and Amanda married a WEBBER/WEBER. She is buried Hot Springs, AR. Seeking Amanda with her parents or ? prior to 1900. Thank you. Charlotte mecha@matnet.com
