Jack, I ran across a Jessy Woods on the 1810 Christian County KY Census. The thing is, the family(ies) were only there for that one enumeration, and are basically a NC/SC family. I know at least one this group (Thomas Woods) ended up living in Dallas County Alabama. If you think there might be some remote chance of a connection for you, let me know and I will forward what I have on the group. I havn't been able to place Jessy in any one of the particular lines, but I know this one is part of the Joseph Woods-Elizabeth Logan family. He's enumerated on the same page as Thomas Woods and Isham Frame Woods. The entry indicates Jessy (in 1810) was between 16-26 years old, as was his wife, and they had one male child under age 10. The Thomas listed is the son of Joseph Woods and Isham is Joseph's grandson through a son Frame Woods. By the way, a number of them -- particularly Frame -- are listed simply as Wood - no s, on the early Census entries. I don't know if you find this of interest, but let me know. /Brett/ Brett F.
