Hello Doris, My g-grandfather is also named Jesse Lee WOOD. My father was Jesse Lee WOOD,II and I am the III. If you had an idea on locations for your Jesse Lee WOOD, I would possibly be able to help you. However, based only on what you have listed, I don't recognize any of the names and can't really help. I would try searching and/or posting to the following: http://genforum.genealogy.com/wood/ http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/ http://www.ancestry.com/main.htm http://www.dlcwest.com/~mgwood/wwgr.html Sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck! He married my great-grandmother, Sarah Ann Fenn, about 1876 (age 20). My grandmother, Arrie May Wood Almanrode, was born 8/26/1880 but I don't know any of the locations. Arrie May married Perry Otto Almanrode about 1900 and my mother, Anna Louise Almanrode was born 9/1/1904 in Xenia, IL (Clay County). I'm assuming Jesse must have died early because my great-grandmother's last name was McComick when she came to see me in Los Angeles, CA about 1940. I was born in 1938. I hope someone is able to tie this in and assist me. Thanks, Doris DKarabinus@aol.com
