I'am looking for information on JOHN THOMAS WOODS/WOOD. John was raised in Chicago Illinois and married his first wife Minnie Ella Huenecke in 1903 Chicago, They had a son Robert Steven Woods born 1904 Chicago. What happened to Minnie and John after that is still unknown. John went on and played baseball for the Three I League before heading to Virginia, Georgia, Florida and finally signed with Detroit in 1917, at that time he gave his home address as Green Cove Springs, Florida. Robert their son was raised by his grandparents Henry and Caroline Huenecke. We know that Minnie died before 1916. It is said that Minnie may have had twin sons and that John took the twins with him when he left the Chicago area. We are somewhat sure that John may have remarried. If any one has any information on John, Minnie or the twin boys, I would love hearing from you.
