My grgrandmother Daisey Lou (WOODS) YATES born July 15,1890 KY died Jan. 8, 1946 Union Co, KY. Listed on death certificate parents: Will WILLIAMS and Mary C. CRUZ. I know by other documents I have her maiden name was definitely WOODS. My confusion is with her father's last name. Does anyone out there have any idea why the last names would be different?
