James L Woods Sr. married Florence Chambers (daughter of William Seymour Chambers and Aurora Belle Spearbeck Chambers) of Vernon County, Wisconsin. Their two sons were James L Woods Jr in New Orleans in the year of 1937 and Thomas DeWitt Woods in St Louis in the year of 1937. Any information on Woods living in the Vernon County area would be helpful. That area would include the area along the Mississippi below LaCrosse down to DeSoto and over to Richland Center up to Tomah area.
