Archibald and Isabella Goss{Gass?} had a son named William Wood b abt 1744-1752{lds-ancestral file} His wifes name was Sussanah Carathina Mckinley although it was spelled "Mechlin" on an probated will.She was born in Virginia abt 1756-died 1829 Abbeville S.C.William also died in Abbeville but in 1804. Their children: James b 1778-S.C Michael b 1780-S.C Andrew C b 1782-S.C. John b 1786 S.C Isabella b 1788-S.C Martha Bell b 1790 S.C Has anyone researched this family? Can anyone help with Robert W Wood{s}? He was living out of the state in 1829when Sussanah Wood probated her will.It has been put forth that several of the family members migrated to Tennessee but that Robert, Andrew and John stayed in Georgia or migrated to Alabama.If anyone can help with Robert W abt 1784 I would be most appreciative.Robert Woods of 1830 and 1840 Troup County Georgia could be this Robert but who knows....does anyone?
