Do you know anything about the story of a "Robert Wood"--that name was given him as he was put in the care of a one time servant of King William the IV, by the real name Robert Wood. The baby was a child of Prince Edward (later father of Queen Victoria) and his paramour, Madame St. Laurent. Buried with only "wood" on his stone, in an old cem. on St.John's St. in old Quebec. Born August 10, 1792 and died in 1847. Said to have been a prosperous lumber merchant in Quebec. Kristin Brue
