I'm so excited ! I have now positively identified two of my Wood orphans. They are the youngest siblings to my ancestor Herbert LeRoy Wood/Woods who is the oldest son of LeRoy Harrison Wood/Woods and Ellen DeForrest/Forrest. The youngest two were twins- DeEtta and Dee (short for ???) Wood born 1881 or 1882 Sept. possibly in or near Shiloah, or Shiloh, Cleburne county Arkansas. The children were orphaned in or near 1882 and then divided up. I am still on the lookout for three more orphans. I haven't ruled out the possibility that Amanda Charlotte Wood and her brother Thomas might be two of the siblings. More info is needed to prove this. Just wanted to share the Good NEWS!
