Hello Listers... I found the following early deeds for Orange Co. Woods' at my local library. Thought they may be of some help to someone (especially if you haven't seen them before). These are typed as they appear in the records I found them in. P. 557, 16 February 1792, Elihu Woods to John Estes [no residence given for either], one hundred and five pounds, 100 acres, on S side of Eno R., on both sides Spirit Br., where Patrick McCulloch lived & died, known as Patrick McCulloch's land, about 2 miles from Hillsborough, part of a tract entered by Hugh Woods; signed: Elihugh Woods; witness: W. Nash, Mary Woods; proved February 1792 Term by Nash P. 557, 10 February 1792, Hugh Woods to son Elihu Woods, renounces all claim to above tract of land; signed: Hugh Woods; witness: W.
