    2. Hello Listers... I found the following early deeds for Orange Co. Woods' at my local library. Thought they may be of some help to someone (especially if you haven't seen them before). These are typed as they appear in the records I found them in. Orange County (NC) Deed Book 2 P. 202, 11 June 1754, Granville to John Woods of Orange, three shillings, 600 acres, on Stones Creek, begin at a white oak, N 100 ch. to a hickory, E 60 ch. to a black jack oak, S 100 ch. to a white oak, W 60 ch. to the first station; signed Granville by Fra.
