Hi Charlotte, This is a long shot for me, but my Grandmother was Bertha Jane MCKINLEY Lane. Her mother was Tempia Ellen Woods whose father was William Woods and Elizabeth Estep. I have never been able to discover why Grandma's name included McKinley. I will be anxious to see the replies to your message to see if I there is any connections to my Woods family.
