Well here is my 2 cents on the good family Woods..We also have the dark olive tones and dark hair. One or two blonds (they are good friends with their hair stylist lol) In our family line we have many that are suffering from many forms of depression. And some of us are having a very bad time with our eyes the older we get the blinder we seem to get also. We all have had our vises but NEVER let grandfather Woods know..he would turn over in his grave if he knew what some of his grandkids did...He would not ever watch a cigerette ad on TV he was so against it, you can only guess at what he was like on the more personal type of ads that came on LOL.. I guess the Pace or McCall line overpowered the Woods line in my family, as most of us are blondes or redheads with light skin that burns easily, but some do have the prominent nose and bad eyes as well as the gambling vice. Of course the gambling may have come from my Cravens line also, as one great uncle, Will Cravens, was killed in a poker game in Nyco,MX. about 1905 or so. My line comes down from Samuel and Margaret (Holmes) Woods (NC,TN,MO) to Oliver and Nancy Haynes Woods (NC,TN,MO) to Samuel Newton Woods and wife Sicily Walker Pace Woods (TN,MO) to their daughter Sicily Cordelia Woods(MO,NM,OK) and husband William Perry McCall(MO,NM,OK) to John William McCall(MO,NM) and wife Anna Belle Cravens(AR,NM) to James Perry McCall(NM) and wife Ida Lorena Snyder(TX,NM) to me Anna Jean McCall(NM).
