I am looking for a Charles Woods, born around 1750, a surgeon "born in America." He was in the Virgin Islands in 1781, and I wonder if he had been in the Revolutionary War? His next generations always said "born in US" and claimed US citizenry. There's a possible Philadelphia connection in the second generation. Anyone have any ideas where to look (online?) for Rev.
