I do not have any family knowledge of him, but I also found several articles. One spells Sarah's name as Virt. The article says he was probably murdered because he had $500 on him and was robbed. Since he was on his way to get married, maybe he fought the robber pretty hard and was killed in the process. It also says Sarah waited 10 years for him to return before marrying another man. Phyllis
