Woodmansee was the son of Eleazer Woodmansee (ship builder) who was the son of Gabriel Woodmansee, Jr. In a biographical sketch of Luther and Henrietta Evalyn Woodmansee Nichols, Evalyn's father is shown as Daniel M. Woodmansee, but I think it is really David M. Woodmansee. It also says her grandfather was Eleazer Woodmansee. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
