Gay: You probably mean George Woodmansee from Melbourne, FL. His email address is [email protected] The Burroughs line that you reference is from Upstate NY and is part of the Joseph, son of Gabriel, line and is not from George's line -- although he may very well have information on them. Andrew Jackson Woodmansee moved with his wife, who was a Burroughs, to Michigan. I knew I had seen in my notes, the Burroughs connection, finally found it, Abigial Woodmansee's daughter, Susan, married an Aretus Burroughs and were living in Onondage, NY. I too have been anxiously waiting for the Woodmansee book. Varnum Woodmansee parents are David Woodmansee 1759-1842 and Amey Worden 1762- . After looking at my tree harder I have a son of Varnum, Hiram Woodmansee marrying a Eliza Bailey. Also Varnum and Paula (Polly) are living with Hiram and his family in 1860. Pat Deb Bazzelle <[email protected]> wrote: I too have been anxiously waiting for the Woodmansee book. Hi All Does anyone know what ever happened to the Woodmansee book? Last I heard someone asked if I was still interested but have not heard anything since and that was some time ago. Pat Danby --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
A branch of my Woodmansee's, thru Thomas, brother of my ancestor Joseph, went to NJ, thru son David, into Butler Co, Ohio, around 1680's into 1700's. I have limited information on Thomas Woodmansee's families. Thomas Woodmansee, s/o Gabriel Woodmansee 1635.
