Looking for ancestry of Horace Lillibridge Woodmansee. Born, 18 Nov 1851, in Richmond, RI. Died, 2 Apr 1926, in Charlestown, RI. Father: Robert Woodmansee. Pls e-mail to [email protected] John Lillibridge
Is anyone researching Woodmansee in Tampa (Hillsborough County), FL? I am trying to locate information on a Mrs. C.M. Woodmansee who was living in Tampa in 1948 (per here brother's obit). She is the sister of my husband's grandfather. I'm not sure of her first name (per the 1900 census it is Valre...a misspelling?) or what the C. M. stands for (her husband's initials?). She was born in 1899, evidently in Missouri (maiden name Turner). Her parents were Arthur Turner and Mary (Dinan) Turner. Anyone out there have info or a connection? Thanks! Phyllis Garratt

Molly, I also have JAMES line thru Sarah Elizabeth LILLIBRIDGE who married Benjamin BARBER and had daughter Anna who married Robert JAMES. Which LILLIBRIDGE child is in your line? The first Joseph WOODMANSEE was very probably born in New London and didn't go to the Westerly area until about 1715 or so. I don't believe anyone stayed in Westerly during King Philip's War (1675), too dangerous. Hello Woodmansees, I saw that the list was in need of a new listowner, so I volunteered and was just accepted. A quick perusal of the utilities page shows 6 of us currently on board. My line is Rhode Island - grandmom was a WOODMANCY. Neppie Annie WOODMANCY (1895-1984) dau of James Burrill WOODMANCY & Rebecca NETHERWOOD James Burrill's mom was Penelope WOODMANSEE - she had him 3 years before she married Gilbert FENNER There is a chance that his father was James B WOODMANSEE, the man who made the stone wall around the Queens River Baptist Church and Cemetery. Just saying hi, Wayne James Millersville, MD now RI 350 years previous
