I have done research for 23 years and I think I can give you the answer, but not documentaion. Jacob and Agnes WOODALL had a daughter by the name of Diana. James Duncan WOODALL was her illigiamate son of Semore DUNCAN. I can't remember where I saw his WILL, that left something to James Duncan WOODALL his offspring , didn't say son. He was James Duncan WOODALL. Someone has put on Ancestry.Com, that Semore Duncan married Diana WOODALL, but there is no record of it in Johnston Co. NC. If you don't have ancestry.com, I will forward it to you. I have found out that these things happned in those days too I am Steve WOODALL'S cousin. The DNA of our WOODALL family gave us a surprise too. His father's DNA showed him to be Haplo Q3 M3, which is Native American Indian. Jim Henry WOODALL is our common ancester, and we believe now that his father Wm. Wagner W! OODALL was adopted in some way and he was given the name WOODALL.
