Surgeon John Woodall was born 1569 in ENGLAND , married in 1603 in ENGLAND and died 1643 in ENGLAND. There is absolutely no reason to even include him or his wife Sara (birth date unknown) in your website. No known link to him. (I have a book he wrote, google him on the internet he was an interesting man) However, NONE of us can claim him. He is a different "John Woodall" then the John Woodall occupation unknown who left a WILL in 1750 in VIRGINIA that named his children John & William and Sarah Prior. I believe that you descend through William b. 1709 location unknown, parents unknown whose son was Charles b. 1732 location unknown whose son was Jehu 1767 b. Virginia. If this is the case, then you do not descend through the John Woodall who left the 1750 WILL in Goochland County, Virginia. Until the DNA testing which shows 2 different results (see DNA project http://home.cfl.rr.com/woodalldna/Test%20Results.htm<http://home.cfl.rr.com/woodalldna/Test%20Results.htm> ) for the paper trails of the descendants of John & William son of the 1750 WILL John Woodall, I also thought that I descended through this John. Anyone who can prove that they go through William and any of his 4 sons Charles b. 1732, John b. 1734, Shadrach b. 1745 and Benjamin b. 1765 do not go through the John Woodall who left his 1750 WILL in Goochland County VA.
