It is true that we do not even know where John who left his 1750 WILL was born. We as researchers of Woodall's who were originally from Virginia for many years (speaking for others such as Verna Perier, Ruth Mason, Steve Woodall & Andy Marshall) believe it is most likely that he probably was born in either MD, VA, or ENG but then there is no document to be found in any courthouse, library, bible record etc. to support this theory. > >The William Woodall born abt 1709 did not serve in the Revolutionary War. His 1st wife's name is unknown. No proof of her name being Mary Woodson or Mary Smith, Mary Jones or anything like it. Also on the Woodall DNA project website DNA results will show that there were at least 2 William's in VA at the same time and there are two different Woodall Families who attended the St. James Parish In Goochland County.
