    3. I believe we maybe kin. My Gr-gr Grandfather Archibald Moore married Mariah Woodall in 1837 in St Clair County to the east of Morgan county. Their daughter Artemissa Moore married my grand father Jordan Barnes, they moved to Cullman County, just South o Morgan. William was a key name in her brothers, and her cousins. Likely she had an uncle named William as Mariah had brothers and they settled in the area. My father always said they we Black Irish. This was often a euphemism for Indian / Irish. My Woodalls and Moore's where part Indian. One Ellen Moore and a Moore Husband signed the Echotaw treaty moving many Indians west. I believe this would give a good start in finding William. There are a number of Woodall Graves one, if my memory serve me, there is a William Woodall grave in Blount County. I may even have a photo. Blessing on your research.Dr. Bob Barnes ----- Original Message ---- From: "shapiro@stic.net" <shapiro@stic.net> To: WOODALL-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, November 9, 2006 12:01:21 AM Subject: Re: [WOODALL] Woodall Black Irish This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
