He died in Youngstown, OH on June 4, 1928. He was my great-grandfather. He was married to Martha Wellington Woodall. Joe had 3 sons and 4 daughters, my Granfather (fathers father) was his son, William. I found him on the US census from 1890-1920, and I thought I found him on the 1871 UK census in Dudley, West Midlands. Joseph Woodall was a very common name back then, and there were several born in that parish in that year. I was able to find a man who I thought was my third cousin- his great-grandfather was the brother of the Joe Woodall I found on the UK census, but after DNA testing on FamilytreeDNA.com it looks like there is only a 10% chance we had a common ancestor in the last 6 generations. Not promising. I don't know anything about Joe's life in England, other than the year of his birth and what was on the death certificate.
