Mahala and Charles are my GGGrandparents too. I want to know if any of you have heard the family legend that Mahala was the daughter of a Chippewa chief from Wisconsin. I'm going to participate in the National Geographic Genome Project for $99 to find out if I have any DNA that shows Chippewa. Since The other side of my family is directly from Italy and the rest of my Sexton relatives are known, then Mahala would be the only candidate.
