The last male Woodall/Woodells I have record of were Calvin Woodell b. 16 January 1853 in NC and his sons, George Washington b. abt. 1874, William Noah b. abt September 1879 and Allen Woodell b. Abt. 1881. They would not have been a DNA Woodell though because Calvin's father was, probably, Benjamin Pate. Therefore, the last male Woodell that I have for DNA purposes would have been Martin Woodell. As for Martin's father, no I don't know his name as far as paper trail proof. I have been told his father's name was Jeremiah Woodell by some Woodell researchers but no one has given me paper trail proof of it.
