I am seeking more information on Mary Emma Woodall b.23 Aug 1858 Terre Haute,, Indiana; d.11 Apr 1954 Solomon,, Kansas m.26 Nov 1876 to: Charles Ralph Eckley b.8 aug 1858 Peoria,, Illinois Am trying to verify (or find) her parents. I have found the following family that I believe may be hers: William Woodall b.abt 1834 Indiana; m.15 Sep 1855 Vigo county, Indiana to: Martha Jane Tye b.abt 1836 Knox county, Kentucky 2 children in 1860 Census Indiana-Vigo-SugarCreek Nancy age 3 Mary age 1 I would sure appreciate any help given to either verify this family or give me info on correct family. Karen, It appears that you are on the right track. have you tried to find the family on the 1870 census?Do you know who John Milton Woodall's parents are or anything past John Milton Woodall?
