I have done research for 23 years and I think I can give you the answer, but not documentaion. Jacob and Agnes WOODALL had a daughter by the name of Diana. James Duncan WOODALL was her illigiamate son of Semore DUNCAN. I can't remember where I saw his WILL, that left something to James Duncan WOODALL his offspring , didn't say son. He was James Duncan WOODALL. Someone has put on Ancestry.Com, that Semore Duncan married Diana WOODALL, but there is no record of it in Johnston Co. NC. If you don't have ancestry.com, I will forward it to you. I have found out that these things happned in those days too I am Steve WOODALL'S cousin. The DNA of our WOODALL family gave us a surprise too. His father's DNA showed him to be Haplo Q3 M3, which is Native American Indian. Jim Henry WOODALL is our common ancester, and we believe now that his father Wm. Wagner W! OODALL was adopted in some way and he was given the name WOODALL. Woodall but have not totally succeeded. I did the Woodall DNA project and found that my 12 marker was identical to some Duncan DNA participants. I believe that James D was James Duncan and we may be getting closer. Steve - I'd be very interested in any information you find on James D. Woodall and connection to the other Woodalls. Does anyone have informatation on Earle Ray Woodall b. 1909 and d. in Chambersburg PA in the 1980's or 1990's. He was married to Daisy (?). They had several children who grew up in Chambersburg. One is currently living in Cumberland, MD.

They had two daughters, Sallie Bell(e), b. 1880, died 1931 in Greenwood, SC. and Margaret E., b. 1882, d. after 1931. Looking for descendants of Shadrach Woodall b. 1745 Goochland CO, VA: Shadrach is the brother to Charles, John & Benjamin Woodall of Goochland Co, VA. I am a descendant of Charles. Shadrach had the following 4 sons with Nancy Hooker: John who m. Marie/Martha Green (John's descendants unknown) George who m. Elizabeth Scott (George's sons: William H., James, Charles, Ralph, Andrew & Taylor) Josiah who m. Nancy Scott (no known descendants of Josiah) & Rueben who m. Pamela Foster (Rueben's sons: Rueben T. & Edward R.) I have been able to trace some of the descendants of Shadrach in Hanover, Richmond, Alexandria, & Halifax, VA,.
