    3. Jeff, I was looking at your Woodall DNA website. I found someone that connects with my Woodall's. Its said, Family 4, Kit 32983 It states they descend from the John Woodall, who married Judith Sampson and then it goes on down, and states that they descend from Henry Thomas Woodall. I also descend from the John Woodall, and Judith Sampson, and the Henry Thomas Woodall, who was married to Mary Elizabeth Verdin. Is there anyway, I can get in touch with this person? I didn't find how to get in touch with anyone, if you saw a connection, or maybe I just overlooked it. 3. Hey Jeff, Thanks for the correction's. They are always appreciated to make things right as best we can. I know you have done extensive work on the Woodall's & yes I keep an eye on the DNA project quite often. Okay so you think i descend from William 1709, his son Charles 1732, his son Jehu 1767 Va., can you get me down the line to my grandmother Susie Ann, daughter of Emeriah Woodall in Colbert Co., Al.? I'm really confused now! I have searched for years for my G G Grandfather Isham Woodall's folks & thought I had it right. Thanks & keep in touch. Always good to hear from my Woodall family. Do you have a birth & death date for Felix G. Woodall? How about a spouse? He's on my site. 2. Jeff Woodall
    3. Glenda, I see that you have made some changes to your website. http://www.tribalpages.com/tribes/singer<http://www.tribalpages.com/tribes/singer> Nice pictures! Surgeon John Woodall was born 1569 in ENGLAND , married in 1603 in ENGLAND and died 1643 in ENGLAND. There is absolutely no reason to even include him or his wife Sara (birth date unknown) in your website. No known link to him. (I have a book he wrote, google him on the internet he was an interesting man) However, NONE of us can claim him. He is a different "John Woodall" then the John Woodall occupation unknown who left a WILL in 1750 in VIRGINIA that named his children John & William and Sarah Prior. I believe that you descend through William b. 1709 location unknown, parents unknown whose son was Charles b. 1732 location unknown whose son was Jehu 1767 b. Virginia. If this is the case, then you do not descend through the John Woodall who left the 1750 WILL in Goochland County, Virginia. Until the DNA testing which shows 2 different results (see DNA project http://home.cfl.rr.com/woodalldna/Test%20Results.htm<http://home.cfl.rr.com/woodalldna/Test%20Results.htm> ) for the paper trails of the descendants of John & William son of the 1750 WILL John Woodall, I also thought that I descended through this John. Anyone who can prove that they go through William and any of his 4 sons Charles b. 1732, John b. 1734, Shadrach b. 1745 and Benjamin b. 1765 do not go through the John Woodall who left his 1750 WILL in Goochland County VA. Regards, Jeff Woodall

    3. Jeff, would you please send me what you have on the WOODALL's? I am a descendant of John Samuel WOODALL. Any information is greatly appreciated. I must have missed the e-mail from Glenda, would you be kind enough to send it to me also. Thanks, Jean Jeff Woodall wrote: >Glenda, > >What are your sources on your Woodall research? The marriage was of Barber Surgeon John Woodall and his wife Sarah. An extraction on this original record can be found on this website: http://www.familysearch.org<http://www.familysearch.org/> This primary and secondary record from St. Peter Cornhill's Parish which we personally viewed gave other details such as John's occupation, etc. > >The John Woodall who was born approximately 1678 give or take somewheres around 10 yrs. birth date based only on known sons ages John & William born circa 1710 who were mentioned in his 1750 WILL. His wife's name has never been found on any document. Her name is still unknown to this day. There is no sort of documentation of the identity of the father of John Woodall born approximately 1678. It is true that we do not even know where John who left his 1750 WILL was born. We as researchers of Woodall's who were originally from Virginia for many years (speaking for others such as Verna Perier, Ruth Mason, Steve Woodall & Andy Marshall) believe it is most likely that he probably was born in either MD, VA, or ENG but then there is no document to be found in any courthouse, library, bible record etc. to support this theory. > >The William Woodall born abt 1709 did not serve in the Revolutionary War. His 1st wife's name is unknown. No proof of her name being Mary Woodson or Mary Smith, Mary Jones or anything like it. Her name is unknown. > >There is no known connection between the descendants of Barber Surgeon John Woodall and any Woodall families today. Barber Surgeon's line may have died out. On the Woodall DNA Project website to this date there are 14 different DNA results. Remember Wood(h)all was a place name, which would explain most different DNA results. Also on the Woodall DNA project website DNA results will show that there were at least 2 William's in VA at the same time and there are two different Woodall Families who attended the St. James Parish In Goochland County. Read the information posted on the website which explains this If you are not familiar with this website, here is the link: http://home.cfl.rr.com/woodalldna/Test%20Results.htm<http://home.cfl.rr.com/woodalldna/Test%20Results.htm> > >We appreciate your enthusiasm.
